Many of us have developed a tendency to avoid conflict because we associate it with negative outcomes and emotions. However\, addressing conflict collaboratively can help us develop mutual understanding\, strengthen relationships and generate value.  \n\n \n\nJoin us on Tuesday\, August 30 for an interactive workshop co-hosted by Ivey Business School and the London Chamber of Commerce\, where we'll unpack the art and science of collaborative negotiations. A collaborative mindset can help you accomplish better outcomes for yourself and your organization.\n\n \n\nAbout the Speaker\n\n \n\nFernando Olivera is an Associate Professor in Organizational Behaviour at the Ivey Business School. He earned a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Industrial Administration from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie Mellon University.  He teaches courses in organizational behaviour and interpersonal negotiations in Ivey's MBA\, EMBA\, and Ph.D. programs. He has conducted negotiation and leadership courses for a variety of organizations\, including Bruce Power\, IBM\, the Ontario Public Service\, J.D. Irving Ltd.\, PwC\, RSA\, RBC\, TELUS\, Samsung\, and the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan.
