Leslie Preston -  Managing Director & Senior Economist

Leslie Preston has been with TD Economics since 2011, and has twenty years’ experience as an economist. In her current role as a Managing Director and Senior Economist, she leads a team of economists who provide economic analysis and forecasts. The team also delivers on a wide scope of research, covering the U.S., Canadian, and global economies. She regularly speaks about the economic outlook to various internal and external audiences, and provides economic commentary to the media. Leslie holds a Masters of Arts degree in economics from the University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Queen’s University.
